My superiors see me as "the ambitious one."

But who am I?

In my country, I am a citizen.
In this world, I am a human.
In God's eyes, I am His child.

But who am I?

Am I a lost soul begging to be found?
A wanderer searching for a faraway goal?
Just another cloud up in the sky?

Who am I?

I am a person, an individual.
I am everything I choose to be.
Strong-willed, I strive toward my goal.

That is who I am.

A friend, a comforter, a lover,
Compassionate, understanding, true.
In my hands, I hold the gift of comfort...

...that is who I am.

How alone am I in this secular world
Till you break my chains and set me free.
Then this individual's unknown no more...

...and that's what friends are for.
